Junior Football Presentation of Awards Sat 10th May

Gavan Pegg has kindly agreed to award the medals and trophies at the football fun day on Saturday 10th May. Gavan is captain of the Maiden Newton and Cattistock football club who have had a great season this year, please click on the link at the bottom of the page to find out more.

Festivities will begin at 11am and will also include a barbecue and shooting skills challenge. This should be a fantastic day out so please remind all the members you know to come along. Parents please don't forget you are invited too...

Sponsored Walk information

A big thank you for all that took part in the sponsored walk and barbecue in December 07. We have raised over £400 which will go towards goals for the Senior Section to replace the metal ones.

You will pleased to know that we didn't lose any kids despite over coming such terryfing ordeals such as sheep, horses, cow pats, the raging river Frome, the bogs of the river meadows, the wild bull of Cattistock road but worst of all - The Chairman's cooking !!

It was great to see so many parents take part and support the club . The walk was a great success, enjoyed by all and may well be something the club will do again in the future. Special thanks goto Mike and Amanda for sorting out the challenging route...

Date announced for the annual football fun day

Football fun day will be on Sat 10th May

The day will commence at 11.00am including;

Short AGM
Presentation of medals and cups
BBQ
Football fun and games on the field

Don’t forget your football kit, boots, trainers, shin pads etc.

Trophies will be awarded for Coaches Player and Most Improved Player in all three sections; as well as for the player who has attended the most training sessions. It could be you...

Please come along and support the club which is continually growing and evolving.

Easter Holidays

Saturday morning training has now stopped for the Easter holidays.

The first day back will be

Saturday 12th April 2008 at 09.30 as usual.


Don't forget your shin pads, drinks bottle, trainers and football boots.

We are now coming towards the end of the season and will be announcing the date for the end of season fun day shortly, so keep watching this space...

No Football Training Sat 23rd Feb

Don't forget due to half term this week there will be no training on this Saturday 23rd February. Training will commence again at 09.30 on Sat 1st March.
